About Us

In 1987, Jim Seaver and his wife Karisa Seaver, sharing a common interest in energy conservation and in design, started Action Home Exteriors in East Litchfield, Connecticut.

The company began as one of only a few dealers in Connecticut of then innovative fusion-welded thermal replacement windows.

David B. Bushka, a third generation carpenter from Torrington, joined the team that same year to manage the installations. Over the years the business expanded its product line from its origin of the most cutting-edge thermal windows to include:

• vinyl and fibercement siding
• exterior trim moldings
• metal roofing
• vinyl slate roofing
• thermal exterior doors
• entry additions
• sunrooms

Mike Coudriet, another Torrington native, joined the team in 1995 to manage sales and product research.

As the customer list and reputation grew, renowned manufacturers began approaching Action Home Exteriors to sell their most innovative products.

Jim, Karisa, David, and Mike are all still working together to ensure that Action Home Exteriors renovations are consistent and excepional in value, design, performance, and longevity. They have produced a long history of exceeding the expectations of both residential and commercial homeowners and businesses in Connecticut.
